The policy on "protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions" is based on Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000.

The applicant gives to the Commission, Directorate-General Justice, an unconditional royalty-free licence to use any content and information related to the application for Access City Award. This includes the right to use any photos, videos, messages or other content and to use them for promotional material for the award. The contact person gives his/her consent to their contact details and related personal information being processed and made public on the ‘Access City Award‘ website and related promotional material.
